Job Title: Talent Acquisition Assistant
Monthly Rate: $4 – $5 per hour (USD)

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday; 8:30-5:00PM PST

Position Overview:


The TA Assistant will be responsible for creating job posting templates for the automated Applicant Tracking System (ATS); managing opening, closing, and refreshing job postings; initial application screening for minimum qualifications; credential and licensure verification, discussing candidate requirements and qualifications to hiring managers, and other administrative support for the Talent Acquisition Team.

Job Responsibilities:

During ATS implementation will create a library of standardized job postings for each division.
Will correspond with applicants via email to prequalify applicants for credentials,
schedule, location, and availability.
After ATS implementation will maintain and manage the library of postings and fulfill
requests from Hiring Managers to change templates slightly for location-specific
customizations as needed.
Prior to ATS launch, will manage the job posting process including receiving requests to
post, getting approval on posting, post to all sites applicable, refresh postings, and close job
postings.
Perform initial application screening to match minimum requirements, disposition as
necessary, and alert team of candidates for review.
Verify credentials for all roles that require them. If unable to verify will email the
applicant for additional information needed to successfully verify.
Will partake in morning intake meetings as needed to get job specific minimum
qualifications and TA meetings to ensure collaboration and priorities.

Job Qualifications:

3 to 4 years’ experience in recruiting or staffing.
Communicate effectively via writing, email, video/Teams meetings and telephone calls.
Ability to discern minimum qualifications on resume/application for applicants and
hiring managers.
Able to create and edit job postings for accuracy and to effectively meet the template
standards.
Able to participate, communicate issues effectively, and contribute ideas in virtual and
telephone meetings.
Skilled in managing multiple tasks and prioritizing competing requests. Need to be able to
proactively communicate any issues with workload and priorities.
Technically savvy and skilled with MS Suite, MS Teams, and learning new systems
quickly.
Able to effectively navigate various websites in order to verify credentials.
Communicate with applicants via email for a variety of initial prequalification needs.
Able to shift gears easily as changes happen daily.
Not afraid to communicate if they are getting behind.
Be proactive and able to identify issues.
Service-oriented with a desire for success.
Intermediate skills in MS Office (specifically Outlook, Word, Excel, and MS Teams).
Prior experience reviewing resumes and creating job postings. Be proactive and able to
identify issues and escalate as needed.
Posting jobs within 48 hours of receipt and staying on top of changes
Meet implementation deadlines for their given tasks.
Ensure customer service meets the client’s standards at all times.
