Position Overview:

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented New Patient Coordinator who can start immediately. If you have experience in healthcare coordination, are proficient in EPIC, and excel in communication and data management, this role is for you.

Job Responsibilities:

• Handle inbound and outbound phone inquiries promptly and professionally
• Check for incoming referrals and process them efficiently to avoid delays
• Communicate with liaisons and referral sources, confirming receipt and providing timely updates on acceptance or denial
• Review patient health records prior to referral acceptance
• Create and maintain digital charts for new patients
• Verify primary insurance coverage
• Obtain authorizations (when applicable) by coordinating with insurance providers
• Utilize EPIC and Excel to manage patient data accurately and efficiently

Job Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in a medical setting
• At least 1 year experience as a New Patient Coordinator (required)
• Must be an RN or have a medical-related degree
• Must be residing within Metro Manila only
• Clinical or hospital experience is preferred
• Strong proficiency in EPIC (EMR system)
• Advanced or strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written)
• Experience handling inbound and/or outbound calls
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
• Experience reviewing progress notes, lab requests, and results
• Experience working with US-based clients is a plus
