Position Overview:

The Clinical Coordinator for the Urology Clinic oversees daily clinical and administrative operations to ensure efficient patient care and workflow. Responsibilities include coordinating new patient intake and transitional care, managing hospital and office medical records, handling medical record requests, FMLA/STD paperwork, and hospital consults. The role also involves verifying insurance eligibility, securing authorizations for visits, procedures, surgeries, and medications, preparing patient charts, maintaining the clinic’s Outlook calendar, and assisting with credentialing. This position requires strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Job Qualifications:

• Must have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Registered Nurse preferred
• At least 2 years of Urology experience
• At least 2 years of experience in a surgical specialty
• Experience with benefits eligibility, referrals, prior authorizations for office procedures, and hospital surgeries.
• Proficient in the English language, both verbal and written
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Team player with a positive attitude
