Job Title: Project Manager/EMR Integration Specialist
Hourly Rate: $5.50 to $6.50
Job Type: Fulltime
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday; 8:30-5:00PM AZ
Job Responsibilities:
System Integration
- Design and implement integration solutions for EMR systems to enable seamless data exchange between disparate healthcare applications.
- Collaborate with software vendors, IT teams, and healthcare providers to develop and maintain EMR interfaces and integrations.
- Ensure that all integration processes comply with healthcare regulations and standards, including HIPAA.
Technical Support
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for EMR integration issues, ensuring minimal disruption to healthcare operations.
- Monitor system performance and optimize integration processes to enhance efficiency.
- Develop and maintain documentation for integration processes and standard operating procedures.
Project Management
- Lead and manage IT related and EMR integration projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project goals.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and develop project plans.
- Track project progress, create and maintain reports, dashboards, templates and project plans.
- Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Assist IT, PMO with other activities, communications and other tasks as assigned. Training and Development
- Conduct training sessions for healthcare staff on the use of integrated EMR or IT systems and best practices.
- Continuously evaluate and update training materials to reflect system changes and advancements.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to provide informed recommendations for system improvements.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in EMR integration or healthcare IT (EPIC experience preferred).
- Proven experience with integration tools and technologies such as HL7, FHIR, web services and API.
- Proficient in the English Language both written and verbal
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with internal and external customers.
- Proficient in MS Office applications including Excel, Word, Outlook.
- Friendly/Outgoing – Good Customer Service Skills
