Position Overview:

Being part of a dynamic and growing company offers the opportunity to perform full-cycle accounting for a variety of market segments. You will be tasked with taking ownership of your book of business and collaborating with peers, both inside and outside of the accounting department, to ensure processes, procedures, and controls produce accurate and timely financial reporting.

Job Responsibilities:

• Full cycle accounting for a variety of lines of business, including Skilled Nursing facilities, Senior Housing facilities, Home Health and Hospice agencies, and Remote Patient Monitoring services.
• Preparation of monthly balance sheet and income statements, including monthly analysis of financial performance for the leadership team
• Account reconciliations and month-end adjusting journal entries
• Influencing and driving process and procedure improvements
• Heavily engaged with the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll teams and processes
• Collaborate with the corresponding team leads regularly
• Special projects for senior leadership, as needed
• Support team members when needed to accomplish a common goal of putting people first
• Oversight of state tax filings, where applicable

Job Qualifications:

• Accounting: minimum 5 years – Required
• GAAP: 3 years – Required
• Proficient in MS Office applications including Excel, Work, Outlook, Team, OneDrive, etc. – Required
• Exposure to payroll systems and reporting – Required
• Experience in full cycle financial production – Highly desired
• Healthcare industry experience – Required
• Bachelor’s Degree – Preferred
• Team-oriented personality and willingness to assist others whenever possible
• Demonstrated self-starter, solid time management skillset
• Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to recognize and resolve challenges
• Must have a positive attitude with emphasis on teamwork
• Critical and analytical thinker
